MTL simplex FISCO power supplies
In a Crouse-Hinds series MTL FISCO fieldbus network, the entire field circuit – including the trunk and all spurs – is intrinsically safe. The fieldbus power supply includes an intrinsic safety barrier and provides conditioned power to the fieldbus segment in the hazardous area. The fieldbus instruments, together with the power supply and any associated wiring components, must be certified as intrinsic safety apparatus and must comply with FISCO requirements.
FISCO enjoys the benefits of any intrinsically safe instrumentation circuit, including the ability to live-work in the hazardous area without “gas clearance” — for example to add or remove a fieldbus instrument while the bus is energised in the presence of a flammable atmosphere.
For easy integration with DCS Fieldbus Interface Modules (FIMs), termination boards are available that use the DCS client system interconnect cables, supporting up to four power supplies with built-in segment terminators.
Users wanting to connect to entity-only certified devices should refer to the spur connector range.

Crouse-Hinds 시리즈 MTL FISCO 필드버스 네트워크에서는 트렁크와 모든 스퍼를 포함한 전체 현장 회로가 본질안전으로 구성됩니다. 필드버스 전원공급장치에는 본질안전 배리어가 내장되어 위험지역의 필드버스 세그먼트에 조정된 전원을 공급합니다. 필드버스 계측기는 전원공급장치 및 관련 배선 구성품과 함께 본질안전 장비로 인증되어야 하며 FISCO 요구사항을 준수해야 합니다.
FISCO는 본질안전 계측 회로의 모든 이점을 제공하며, 인화성 대기 환경에서 “가스 제거” 없이도 위험지역에서 활선 작업이 가능합니다 — 예를 들어 버스가 통전된 상태에서 필드버스 계측기를 추가·제거할 수 있습니다.
DCS 필드버스 인터페이스 모듈(FIM)과의 손쉬운 통합을 위해, DCS 클라이언트 시스템 인터커넥트 케이블을 사용하는 터미네이션 보드를 제공하며 최대 4개의 전원공급장치와 내장 세그먼트 터미네이터를 지원합니다.
