MTL LC30 Load Cell and Weighing System Surge Protector
The Crouse-Hinds series LC30 surge protection device protects load cell and weighing system installations from possible malfunctions, or damage to individual strain-gauge bridges of associated electronic instrumentation, caused by severe overvoltages or impulse currents on signal cabling.
Fully solid state, the LC30 clamps incoming surges immediately without causing undue leakage losses under normal conditions. Once the surge has passed, the device automatically resets to the passive state, allowing normal operations to continue.
The advanced protection concept used in the LC30 also eliminates the expensive additional earthing systems specified by other suppliers so field installation is very simple indeed. The LC30 device is non-voltage producing, non-energy storing ‘simple apparatus’ and as such, can be used in hazardous areas with appropriate self-generated system documentation. The LC30 is also certified for use in legal metrology applications.

Crouse-Hinds LC30 시리즈 서지 보호 장치는 신호 케이블에 발생하는 심각한 과전압 또는 임펄스 전류로 인해 발생할 수 있는 로드셀 및 계량 시스템 설비의 오작동이나 관련 전자 계측 장비의 개별 스트레인 게이지 브리지 손상으로부터 시스템을 보호합니다.
완전 솔리드 스테이트 방식의 LC30은 정상적인 작동 조건에서 과도한 누설 손실을 발생시키지 않고 유입되는 서지를 즉시 차단합니다. 서지가 지나가면 장치는 자동으로 수동 상태로 재설정되어 정상적인 작동을 계속할 수 있습니다.
LC30에 적용된 고급 보호 개념은 다른 공급업체에서 요구하는 고가의 추가 접지 시스템을 필요로 하지 않으므로 현장 설치가 매우 간편합니다. LC30 장치는 전압을 발생시키지 않고 에너지를 저장하지 않는 ‘간단한 장치’이므로 적절한 자체 시스템 문서를 갖추면 위험 지역에서도 사용할 수 있습니다. 또한 LC30은 법정 계량 분야에서 사용하도록 인증되었습니다.
