MTL DP200 BT & RJ Range for Modems and Telemetry
The Crouse-Hinds series MTL DP200 BT & RJ range provides robust, 10kA, plug-in protection for fax, modem, telemetry and other telecom applications. Units are available with either a BT or RJ11 style plug and socket (DP200/BT and DP200/RJ respectively). Where RFI filtering is required in addition to surge protection, the DP200/BT/RFI and DP200/RJ/RFI versions can be supplied — these devices suppress interference from medium wave radio transmissions and other sources that can compromise normal telecom operation.
DP200 BT & RJ devices are easy to install — simply loosen the lid retaining screw, remove the lid, and screw to a wall or panel. The unit should be earthed with 2.5mm² cable connected to the unit’s earth terminal.
