MTL redundant fieldbus power supplies
Crouse-Hinds series MTL Redundant Fieldbus Power Supplies are designed to provide redundant power for up to eight FOUNDATION™ fieldbus H1 segments and are suitable for use with all fieldbus systems. They are optimized for use in general purpose and hazardous area High Energy Trunk architectures which, with the appropriate FieldPlus wiring components, support fieldbus devices using all hazardous area protection techniques.
The power supplies are designed to optimize cabinet layouts, achieving the maximum number of fieldbus segments powered per cabinet, while providing space for installing and maintaining cable connections and reducing the operating temperature.

Design features
MTL 9180 range (recommended for all new applications): Unique N+1 redundancy — 2 power supply modules/segment initially, with a third addable later for expansion, typically delivering 25% savings in initial capital cost vs conventional 1+1 redundancy. Delivers redundant fieldbus power up to 28V, 500mA/segment.

MTL F800 range: eight-segment, high density fieldbus power supply. F801 modules: 8 outputs of 21.5V, 350mA. F802 modules: 8 outputs of 28V, 500mA for trunk lengths >600m or heavily loaded barriers.
